Thanks for entering our web site! The Computational Mechanics Group (GMC) is a registered research group within the Technical University of Madrid UPM, including researchers and teaching staff located at the School of Civil Engineering. Our research is based on computational models, mainly Finite Element Methods, focused on applications to Structural Dynamics and Biomechanics. Our teaching in udergraduate and postgraduate courses covers also different programs and schools. We are always interested in scintific cooperation with other national or international groups, as well as with students willing to develop research work.
