Khanh Nguyen

Khanh Nguyen is Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the Department of Aircraft and Space Vehicles at the Technical University of Madrid. He received his CEng from the José Antonio Echeverría Higher Polytechnic Institute (Cuba) and Master and PhD in Structure Engineering from the Technical University of Madrid. He has been Assistant Researcher at Spanish Research Council (CSIC), working on the instrumentation and structural health monitoring of buildings and then Posdoctoral Researcher at UPM, working on the assessment of the railway bridge dynamics.
His research interests are focussed on the track dynamics, deterioration of the track, nonlinear material, vehicle-bridge interaction, structural health monitoring, finite element updating.
